Baylor students wow alumni during Reunion poster session
Baylor College of Medicine students impressed their alumni colleagues at the 2024 Alumni Reunion on Thursday, April 4, during the Student Research Poster Presentations session, with four Baylor students earning the top prizes for their research efforts. Students from the School of Medicine and the M.D./Ph.D. program were invited to present their research posters.
After viewing the presentations, which covered a range of topics from Houston’s pediatric psychiatric resources to commercially negotiated pricing for Mohs surgery (a procedure used to treat skin cancer), alumni and guests voted for four out of the 11 projects to receive top honors.
