Dr. Liao is among the nation’s leaders in robotic cardiac surgery, having performed more than 300 procedures and is the only surgeon in Houston using the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System to treat heart valve and coronary disease. Across more than 35 specialty and countless more subspecialty areas, Baylor leads in healthcare because we use Baylor-driven medical research to improve patient care, and we leverage insights gleaned as we care for patients to spark the next-generation health advances. This expansion — including the near completion of the O’Quinn Medical Tower (opening 2023) and the planned buildout of the hospital tower — will enable Baylor to deliver the best in healthcare, including an innovative patient-centered model of care and revolutionary data-driven approaches to prediction, diagnosis, prevention and cure of disease.
