Andrew is an experienced and trusted advisor and counsel to public and private life sciences, pharmaceutical, and emerging technology clients on matters including corporate formation and governance, financing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, clinical trials, collaboration and cross-border licensing, and intellectual property. Andrew previously served as the general counsel for the Texas A&M University System where he was responsible for, among other things, technology commercialization, business contracting, litigation and Board governance for the system’s universities and state agencies.
He started up and successfully exited a Texas-based biotech company that has since grown to over 1200 employees, has served and presently serves as the general counsel for several private and publicly traded biotech clients and has served as a board member and in leadership positions for NYSE, Nasdaq, and private corporations. He is presently the Chair of the Product Development Advisory Committee for CPRIT.
Andrew received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
