Lillie and Roy Cullen Tower

A cutting-edge space to help ready today’s healthcare providers for tomorrow’s challenges

The Future of Healthcare
Starts Here

Nearly 80 years ago, Baylor College of Medicine helped transform medical education in Houston with the opening of the Roy and Lillie Cullen Building in the heart of the Texas Medical Center. Today, Baylor is building on that legacy with the Lillie and Roy Cullen Tower, a new home designed to prepare future healthcare professionals for an increasingly complex and collaborative world. As the future home of Baylor’s School of Medicine and School of Health Professions, the Cullen Tower will provide modern learning environments that support innovative teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration and hands-on training. The facility will help attract exceptional students and faculty while strengthening Baylor’s ability to prepare the next generation of physicians and healthcare professionals.

Located within Michael E. DeBakey Health Sciences Park and adjacent to TMC Helix Park, the tower will bring education, research and innovation closer together. Students, trainees and scientists will have greater opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and connect with leaders from academia, healthcare and industry, helping accelerate discoveries that improve patient care. Made possible through the generosity of philanthropic partners and community supporters, the Lillie and Roy Cullen Tower represents a bold investment in the future of healthcare. More than a new academic building, it will serve as a launchpad for the ideas, discoveries and healthcare leaders who will shape medicine in Houston and around the world for decades to come.
