The Campaign to Create Tomorrow's Medicine Today - BCM

TOGETHER WE CAN WRITE A NEW CHAPTER IN HEALTHCARE

At Baylor College of Medicine, breakthrough research, next-generation education and precision care aren’t goals for tomorrow. They’re happening today. The Tomorrow’s Medicine Today campaign is a $1 billion commitment to build on that momentum and accelerate what’s possible—improving outcomes and changing lives for every patient we serve.

About

Baylor is proudly celebrating more than 125 years as a research powerhouse and a top institution for education and patient care.

For more than a century, we’ve been at the forefront of medical discovery—contributing to landmark achievements such as helping decode the human genome and transforming cardiovascular care with innovations like the first successful coronary artery bypass and, more recently, robotic heart surgery.

Today, we are standing at the threshold of a bold new chapter that will transform the future of healthcare.

A Message from our Honorary Chairs
Susan G. Baker and James A. Baker, III

We are deeply honored to serve as honorary chairs of Baylor College of Medicine’s Tomorrow’s Medicine Today campaign. For decades Baylor has
been one of Houston’s most important institutions and a true engine of discovery, innovation and education
that improves lives here at home and around the world.

Throughout our lives, we have seen how strong institutions and bold ideas can change the course of communities and even nations. Baylor embodies that same spirit of leadership and progress, translating groundbreaking science into real solutions that advance health and opportunity for countless people.

Since opening in 1943, Baylor has been a cornerstone of the Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest and absolute best medical center.  But Baylor did not do this alone. It also took the incredible generosity of a cohesive community that supports the brilliant minds at Baylor.

We are proud to be associated with this effort and to support Baylor’s vision for the future. The Tomorrow’s Medicine Today campaign represents an extraordinary opportunity to accelerate discovery, expand education and improve patient care.

Susan and I invite our community to rally behind Baylor to help the breakthroughs of tomorrow begin today.
